I met Elissa on the airplane on her way to West Point. I was on my way to Navy boot camp. She was absolutely beautiful. She took my breath away. She suprised me when she got up to sit with me to talk. I was the luckiest guy alive at that moment. She wrote me once and, like an IDIOT, I never returned the gesture. I have thought of her often and hoped to one day catch up with her. A couple of hours on an airplane and she is one of the highlights of my life. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. She was an angel. |
