Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Nargis Kabiri Mougey on December 1, 2020:

He was the epitome of a servant-leader and selfless service. Anthony (Totes) and I first met when I was stationed at Texas A&M a few years ago. It was during this meeting that he inspired me to chase my vision. Before that meeting, I had many self-limiting beliefs as to who an entrepreneur was and what a small business owner looked like. Quite frankly, he had every right to laugh me out of that meeting. All I had to present during that meeting was a sketch of my idea (and not the fancy computer-generated kind, but a hand-drawing on a piece of paper). That day, he didn't give me a fish to eat, instead he taught me how to fish. He took me under his wing and challenged me see my own potential. He was a great mentor and a great friend. I admired how he put his family first. He would often involve his young boys in the events & charities he attended. He championed many important causes. He had a kind heart. His lessons were timely at each new stage of my entrepreneur journey and grateful his support. I still had much to learn from him and deeply saddened he left us too soon. He will not be forgotten. He touched many lives, left this world a better place, and his memory will live on. Be thou at peace...
