Be Thou At Peace

Bear and I were company mates in D3 for 2 years. The last time I saw him was on our graduation day in 1992. That being said, when I recieved news of his death it stopped me in my tracks. Bear was a great friend, a true soldier, and an exceptional leader. Anyone who knew him had no doubt that he would be a great officer in the Army, and reading the accounts of his actions in Iraq verifies those opinions. I can only express my deepest sympathies to his family. He will never be forgotten by those of us who knew him well. Regards, Mike Burris, USMA 1992 |
