I got to know Guy in the barracks when I was in A-3 and he was a couple floors above me in "Eisenhower Barracks." His roomie was dating a girl in New Haven, and I used to catch rides with the roomie, and thereby used to hang around the room and got to know Guy. We became friends. I saw him when we were stationed in Germany. he had a broad smile and was a big teddy bear. A good man. I know the people in his care while in Iraq owed their safety to him, and have heard great things about his steadfast leadership, taking charge in trying times while securing those in his care. He was a good man and represented the Class of '92 well. Everyone associates with and roots for "The Goat." He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his immediate and extended family. |
