Be Thou At Peace

Though I hadn't really talked with Josh since graduation, the news of his death stunned me nonetheless. I'm still in a state of disbelief. I was privileged to serve with Josh on the Cadet Honor Committee during our cow and firstie years. I really enjoyed the time we spent as Beast Honor Detail cadre our firstie summer. My enduring memories of that summer are shamming out of PT by hanging out in the First Division Building and celebrating the end of Beast with dinner at Fiesta Cancun. Though we had some funny guys on the Committee, Josh was by far the king. He always managed to make our meetings bearable by lightening the mood with humor. Besides his great sense of humor, I will remember Josh for his great work ethic and unimpeachable integrity. My prayers are with Josh and his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. "Be thou at peace" |
