Be Thou At Peace

Posted by David Roberts on November 9, 2003:

I was in Josh's company, I-3, as a plebe/yearling. I did not know him well outside of that environment, so that is all I can comment on. As a plebe, he was not one of the favorite upperclassmen because he had the reputation of being strict. I do not mention this a negative trait though; it seemed a lot of the upperclass where more concerned about being popular. As a plebe/yearling, you learn the most through observation of those above you, learning what to do, what not to do. I respected him for choosing to uphold standards instead of garner favor. The impression that he left on me was one of being strict and yet fair. After recognition, I found that he was a pretty nice guy too.

I graudated in 98 and have forgotten most of my own classmates' names. I definitely remember his.
