Although we were only two years apart at West Point, Mark and I did not meet until we both took commands in 1-66 Armor at Fort Hood. He was a great guy to be around, always positive, and we could agree on almost anything other than what was the best Branch, Infantry or Engineers. He was a great wing man, and I always knew he had my back. I was proud to serve with him in combat and will never forget him. Mark, I know you will always have my flank from above. Chad Caldwell |
