Dave - there isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about your superb leadership and all you did to build Anvil Troop into a special team. It was such a tremendous honor and privilege to have had the chance to get to know you and to serve with you brother. Tom Bostick came up to me in Edelweiss during one of the off-sites we all did as battalion and company command teams with wives...he told me how lucky I was to have the chance to work with you and what a great leader you were. Well it certainly turned out to be the case. Just a short note to say that I miss you my friend and hope that you are at peace. No one deserves it more than you. And by the way, SGM Lunsford just retired. I know he carries you with him every day. All our love and all of our prayers, Mike |
