| I am the mother of a captain who did two tours in Iraq and I just wanted to say that you should be very proud of your exceptional son, father, and husband. I just finished reading his letter to the editor and with tears in my eyes I thank God that there are men and women like these who love America, who care about those without the freedoms we take for granted and who continually, even amidst the harang of less-informed, or antagonistic media-types, serve with honor and integrity in some very difficult circumstances. I hope you remember how honorable Paul was and that the children are told often about the kind of man their daddy was. You should all be very proud of such a man. My heart breaks for you all. Thank goodness there are men like him. You are in my prayers. |
