Be Thou At Peace

When I heard the news of Corry’s death, it felt like a 100 lb weight had been dropped on my chest and I couldn’t breathe for what seemed like ages. Although I haven’t spoken with Corry since West Point, he was a very dear friend. We both majored in Civil Engineering and took part in ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineering) together. He was always a true friend and gentleman. He even tried to teach me how to drive stick in his truck…on that day, I learned how patient he was! He was so good-natured and always had a smile on his face. The world would be a much better place if there were more men like Corry…
