Rebecca, I did not know you. I am a wife of a Retired Army Officer, Class of 1963 and an Army Wife of almost 45 years. Tonight I picked up "Taps" to read and started at the end. I got to your beautiful article and could not understand the cause for your passing but so enjoyed reading of your interesting life and many accomplishments. Seeing that smile in your eyes and on your face made me search and search to learn more. I went to google and put in your name and continued my reading all the articles concerning your life. I did find the reason you were taken from your family and friends and my heart goes out to all of them. I did not know you but do wish I had. What an example you must have been for so many. My heart and prayers go with your friends and especially your parents. Rest in Peace |
