Becky was a great friend. As plebes, we both struggled a bit in G-1, as most cadets do at some point. We both felt at the time that we were singled out unfairly, of course. Yet we still found the humor in it all and we enjoyed sneaking in a grin from time to time even when we were supposed to be learning a lesson. What that lesson was always seemed to escape us. Becky was quiet, but that only hid her sharp wit and keen intellect. It was wonderful to see her blossom into a great leader and confident woman. She will be missed, CPT Conrad Jakubow, '00 |
