Dear Mr. and Mrs. Tiffner: On behalf of myself and my family, we offer our deepest condolences for your loss. When I think of what Ben was doing -- protecting my children and their future -- I can only say how deeply grateful I am for his noble efforts, and for his attempt to bring peace and justice to this troubled world. As the parent of a West Point plebe, not a day goes by that I don't think of the sacrifice Ben and so many others have made. May Ben be wrapped in God's arms, and let Ben's sacrifice lead us to a better world marked, above all, by God's enduring love. God bless you, and may you take comfort in His love and care.
