Benjamin Tiffner

West Point, 2000

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Steve Kuo on November 11, 2007:

Dear Tiffner family,

Ben and I were classmates and in the same company at West Point, infantry schools in Ft. Benning, and were platoon leaders in the same company.

Ben was one of the most unselfish persons I have met. He would always go out of his way to help those around him and to make those around him better. My most memorable moments with Ben were the Thursday morning PT while we were platoon leaders - since our men were doing sergeant's time, we would work out and run together, pushing each other mentally and physically while discussing life, women, our unit, the army, or joke about the things we got away with at West Point... Other great times were when the LT's went out to IHOP after late nights at work, or when we go out on weekends. Ben was a true team player and a true warrior and leader you could count on to cover your back out on the battlefield.

Ben will truly be missed, especially by the countless people whose lives he affected in a positive manner.
