Ben made Ranger School look easy. There were very few who did that. I recycled into his platoon and he helped me graduate. Although we were both lieutenants, I looked up to him. I did not keep in touch after that, but there is no doubt that he went on to be a great Infantry and Special Forces officer. The United States of America lost a great soldier in Ben Tiffner, but his sacrifice and legacy will strengthen the cause. Rangers Lead the Way. |
