| I knew Joe at the Defense Language Institute in 1995. He was impressive and I looked up to him when I was a brand new private. He left for the prep school and I continued at DLI for another year. Then we both met again at West Point and graduated together in 2000. He continued to be impressive as a cadet. We were never particularly close but I knew him 20 years ago, and I'm sorry to hear his journey has ended. |
