Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Ray Bosse on October 21, 2003:

My deepest sympathies to his parents Richard and Gale. I knew Dave well because he was four year member of the Men's Swim Team and I was the head coach.

Dave earned a Varsity "A" his senior year after fours year of sweat and toil. Many would have, and did, stop swimming after not becoming a Varsity performer in a few years, but not Dave. Each year the staff would wonder if he was going to come back out and he always did. He was the first guy in the weight room, the sweatiest when he left, and never was late or missed a practice. During his tenure the men won the Patriot Championships 3 out of the 4 years, and believe me Dave was as much a part of that effort as the guys who won events!

Dave was always a quiet guy who never asked for special treatment, but always what he could do for the group. The consumant selfless servant!

His death will leave a gap for all of us who knew him. May he rest in peace!
