Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Juliza Ramirez on March 4, 2008:

I talked about you in January during a class discussion in Psychology. My classmates sat around and debated how "real altruism" did not exist. That it only "really" existed between family members. I felt upset about that comment because I thought about you and Dicenzo, and I spoke up. I told them how you died for our country. How your death was one of the best examples of altruism, and that it was real. Not some debated "idea" among students that have never seen war. All theories and philosphies out the window - there was silence in the room and peace in my heart. You were there. Peace be with you David.
