Dear Lisa, Every time Yale and I read one of the obituaries of these young officers, we go back in time to Viet Nam era when we would get a notice of one of Yale's '54 classmates having been KIA. It brings the same sad feeling it did many years ago. For you at this time, probably no words we offer may give you comfort. But for those of us who then knew the wives and later the children of my husband's classmates we know the need to say them to you and your family. John is with our Loving God, and for you Lisa and your beautiful children, may the same Loving God hold you close and watch over you all.
