My deepest heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the family of John Hallet. John was a great friend, mentor, teammate, and an overall amazing person. I first met John when I was a plebe during the Spring of 2000. He approached me about joining the water polo team after I had finished the swimming season. His warm welcoming spirit made me feel part of the team before I even committed to joining them. John looked out for the underclassmen on the team by always offering assistance in case we needed support. I will forever remember John's infectious smile and the laughs that we shared. However, once we got in the swimming pool, John was our fearless and tenacious leader. I am extremely grateful for having the chance to know John. -Zenin Hamaguchi '03 |
