Be Thou At Peace

My husband and I just returned from Fort Lewis. We saw our son (07) off with the advance team from 4th Brigade to Iraq for his first tour. John's death and others' from his brigade broke our hearts. Our son's roommate will be joining the 5th in Afghanistan in a week or so. It seems John lived his life very, very well. That's our greatest hope for our son. I pray the LORD will comfort your hearts as your mourn a very great man. |
