Joe Lusk, USMA '01

Posted by Kyle Randall on January 25, 2005:

Joe Lusk- You were one of the great ones. Gifted; focused; and, in turn, successful in everything you did.

We had a few classes together at West Point- you were the kind of guy everyone wanted on their side. If someone needed help, you knew the stuff and were always willing to help, even if it was the night before a big game.

When it mattered, you were all business. When it was for fun, you put on a different hat and sought out a good time like it was the last night of your life. I'll remember the good times in Lower Alabama more than anything else. If Joe wasn't going, it probably wasn't the place to be.

If you couldn't find the best place to be on a Friday night, you made wherever you were the best place to be. We made a lot out of a little on many a night.

Thanks for the good times, Joe. You'll be my wingman forever.
