| Joe was one of the best guys I have ever met. We were both aero majors and had almost every class together cow and firstie year. I cant even count the number of projects that Joe and I did together. He was always there to lead and carry the group no matter how hard the assignment was. In flight school he was the same way. Always a great friend there to help you no matter what it was. I was floored when I heard about his passing the other night. Kyle Button and I are both in Tikrit right now and we found out the same time. Kyle was in his company cow and firstie year. Neither one of us can believe that such a horrible thing has happened to such a great guy. The Army and every single person that ever got the chance to meet him have suffered a very great loss. Joe always gave 100% in everything he did and he will be missed by all, especially me. |
