Joe and I were crewed together in the AH64D Longbow as soon as he arrived at the unit, 1-2229th/3-3 AVN, Ft. Bragg, NC. We flew together the entire time on many battle drills, gunnery exercises and test flights. I can say this without reservation what so ever, Joe was a great man, had unwavering integrity and loved his soldiers. He will be missed! CW4 Tony DeGusipe |
