Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Casey Terrell on December 28, 2005:

Joe looked out for me the first day I met him when I was a plebe on the sprint team. His entire firstie year, I could always go to his room and catch a break from freshman troubles, and he was always there to help whenever he could. I'll never forget he and Gary, Jay, Mike, and the rest of the guys coming back from the Firstie club to throw snowballs in my room..and help me feel a little bit more like I was at a regular school and not where we were. Or the time he went out of his way to "make sure" I got to a concert when we had no way to get there. It seems so small, but thats the kind of guy he was..and I never got a chance to tell him how much he meant to everyone. He was always having a good time, even when school was rough and seemed impossible. He was one of the best guys I've ever known and he will be missed. Thanks Joe for everything you did for me, and everyone that knew you.
