Andrew Pearson

West Point, 2001

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Ryan Schrock on May 3, 2008:

I first met Andrew in July 1994, we went to basic training at Ft. McClellan AL., together to become Military Police. Excellent Soldier, he breezed through the training. Three years later we met again at the Prep School. Gifted in all areas, Andrew was the "go to" guy. And yes, he could run like the wind, I never could catch him.

He was a man of the highest character; he is the epitome of what USMA is all about as an officer, leader, warrior and servant to his nation. There is no doubt in my mind he made a huge impact in his 14 yrs of service to our nation. We are all in his debt and are privileged to have known him and served with him.

To his family-- know that he was revered and respected by his classmates, peers and Soldiers -- by everyone who came in contact with him. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
