Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Michelle Ramos on May 4, 2008:

During junior and senior year in H2, Drew helped me out a lot. He was a great friend and I appreciate everything he did for me. Honestly, I think I am a better officer because of the things I learned from him. He always took the time to listen and set me on a better path. In October 2006 at Fort Hood, my husband Daniel and I were preparing to deploy in a few days. We were in the PX and we ran into Drew. Neither of us had seen him in a few years. He looked exactly the same and as positive as ever. He told us he just moved to Hood and was going to 4th ID. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to spend some time with him. Daniel and I are really going to miss him and we are so blessed to have had Drew as a friend. He was truly a gentleman, a great leader, and a genuine friend. Drew, you will be terribly missed.
