I last saw Drew two years ago when he drove two and half hours from Benning to come see me at Rucker. That was Drew - he would do anything for a friend. We talked for hours, about classmates, our jobs, our futures - but mostly we talked about our families. Drew was always the leader amongst us, Lew and I both knew Drew was made to be an Army Officer. All my memories from West Point seem to involve Drew - prep school, roomates Cow year, sitting at the same table cow and firstie year, graduation day. He was always there for me, keeping me straight and making me laugh. Drew, thanks for everything man, I will miss you brother. To the Pearson family, my deepest condolences for your loss. |
