Be Thou At Peace

We focus our hearts and prayers with Don and Barbara and their family as they go through this most difficult of passages at this time. Our West Point Parents Club of WA has provided an opportunity for us to share with them throughout all six years: from acceptance to the class of 2002, to now. WPPC-WA is how we met; how we shared in the growth and development in our 1st LTs; how we prayed for their safe return from Iraq; how knowing we shared all this sustains us --so close in so many ways! Words cannot express the loss of such a promising and valued loved one as Mike. We all have a feeling of what it would be like but cannot truly know. --So many mixed emotions at this tragedy. We are all proud of Mike's accomplishments in his short time. His men are safely returning and he has been a wonderful example of leadership for others. We wish peace and comfort to all who are devastated at this loss. We are proud of the support the Academy and its extended family provide in the shared loss. Again, Barbara and Don our prayers are completely with you. If there is ever anything . . . Lovingly yours, Lambs |
