Bunting Family, I apologize for this being so late but I just wanted to offer a quick eulogy to honor Brian. I played lax with Brian for two years at West Point and quickly grew to love his witty one-liners and magnanimous smile. Even moreso- the way he competed as an athlete and the way he conducted himself as a cadet was truly inspirational. I never saw him after graduation but the character he displayed at West Point and the eulogies I read from those who served with him remind me of my most cherished Bible verse. "There is no greater love than to lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13 Thank you and Rest In Peace, Bubba! -Chris Widell |
