Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tucker Mahoney on November 16, 2015:

I was fortunate enough to have Tim as my BEAST squad-mate. Supremely fit with more experience than the rest of the squad combined, he set the example, built cohesion, and made us a success. Without his calming presence and positive attitude, I'd probably still be hanging off the side of the rappel cliff out on route 293. Without his knowledge and advice, I'd probably still be on the zero-range trying to fire right-handed with my weak eye. Many of the cadre grew frustrated or simply gave up trying to break him physically because they couldn't...this was wonderful entertainment for all of us.

I was again fortunate to be placed in the same academic battalion as Tim, spending all 4 years on the same floor of Bradley. Tim was a stud and had every reason to be cocky, but he never was. He was always calm and collected, with a great laugh and sense of humor. He treated everyone the same, and I don't know anyone that didn't like and respect him. His loss is devastating.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Well Done, Tim. We'll miss you man.
