Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Chucky Erwin on November 11, 2005:

You could find none more loyal than Jim Gurbisz. He was always there to protect his Brother. Jim was a man with an immense heart and a very hard head. I witnessed him knock out many an opponent on the rugby pitch with his melon. He was full steam ahead in all that he sought to accomplish. He would just drop his head and drive forward. "Always down by 3," Jim never settled for the status quo. It was his contagious attitude of intensity that helped inspire those around him. Behind the warrior was a kind and gentle-hearted man. His gentleness was most evident around Tori. I never wanted to let him down. He would never let me.
My condolences to the Gurbisz family. My heart breaks for your husband, son, and brother.
Well done Jim.
By His grace,
Chucky Erwin
BROTHERS
