| Word of Jim's death has reached across a nation. I am writing from California. We were lucky enough to know Jim while he was at Monmouth Regional High School, in Tinton Falls, NJ. I cannot find the words to express our grief and shock. Jim's presence will be missed in this world, but he will not be forgotten. Jim touched our life in a special way. He was a friend, a teammate and a gentleman. He made us laugh, he made us cheer and he made us proud. To Capt. James Gurbisz's wife, and to his family, please accept our condolences. Jim touched so many lives in so many ways. He will always be in my prayers. |
