| I have known Drew since our freshman year at West Point when he whooped me twice on the wrestling mat. I was immediately impressed with his work ethic and humility and continued to respect him throughout our time in school. I was lucky enough to work with Drew as Platoon Leaders in the same battalion at Fort Lewis, WA. Drew was by far one of the best leaders that I have had the pleasure of working with. He took the initiative, made sound decisions, and was courageous in his actions. His Soldiers would have followed him anywhere, they trusted him. He was lucky enough to get the Mortar Platoon for our second deployment and they couldn't have gotten anyone better. To Stacia and the Jensen Family, you have my deepest condolences in your loss. Drew, thank you for allowing me the chance to be your friend. Peace brother. |
