Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Christina Fishback on November 6, 2021:

My deepest condolences to our dear friend Dave, and to Darcy Lou and Tattoo, as well as to her family and friends. Bobby and I are devastated to have lost such an incredibly bright light in our life. We had many adventures with Dave and Jackie and always got into to some kind of trouble. Jackie was a woman's woman. I admired her for her brilliance and wicked sense of humor. I aspire to possess her confidence as she moved around in the world. She was destined for an incredible Army career and was a complete badass. I was happy to call her a friend. She was an incredible dog mom, she gave warm hugs, her smile could light up a room, she was so much fun, and there was something we intuitively "got" about each other as women. She made me feel as comfortable with her as I am my own sisters. There is no one else like her. She will be missed, and I will live knowing that her memory and her spirit are with me always. I want to make my friend proud in this life. And we will take care of Dave and make sure we all get into the same amount of mischief as we always did. We loved Jackie and she is in our hearts every day. May she join my dad in the Long Gray Line. Love you Dave. We look forward to living close to you and the fur kids soon. Jackie ~ Be thou at peace ~ Christina, Bobby, Penelope, and Dottie.
