Torre was a great leader both on and off the field. My junior year he was both my defensive captain and company commander. He had a great leadership presence on the football field and was the keystone to our defensive backfield every year he played. He also had great athleticism and could make some amazing plays at that free safety position. Some of the best I’ve ever seen personally on a football field. I know he was a great Cavalry officer and a great company commander. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the chance to get to know him. My heart goes out to his family. Jeff Rottenberg ‘03 |
