Be Thou At Peace

Posted by linda lange on April 9, 2006:

Timmy, I love you for all that you are, even now, and always will be, a powerful force of life, love, goodness, joy. Father, husband, son, and a friend beyond measure who understood even without words, emanating strength in concert with your gentle spirit and kindness. We have felt you, heard you, seen your presence here with us in many ways over the last week. Thank you for that. We will remember to be still and listen, to be aware and watch for you. Know we are reaching back to you and will be with you here until the time comes when we can be with you there.

Know, too, Timmy, that we are here and always will be for KM and Natalie, loving them so, as well you know. And for Kate.

You know what is is my heart, Timmy, though I cannot find words for it. You are with Todd now, and there is some comfort in knowing you are together. Loving friends who can share sometimes your tears, share a joke with rumbling laughter -- that's what I'll listen for now in thunder -- the two of you laughing together. Stir up a little mischief, share your thoughts and stories, wander together, wonder together, marvel together, stoke up the grill, whatever.

Mostly, though, Tim, may you know the peace and wonder of the universe as you enrich its majesty beyond measure with your ongoing spirit.
