Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Diana Garnett on May 9, 2006:

Tim and I were friends from high school. We shared so many memories from being PIG partners in hs, to summers on the cape, college visits and many wonderful times with the Ducks! Tim was always there for me with his big goofy grin to remind me to stop being so serious and laugh at one of his many jokes. Tim had the biggest heart. My last conversation with Tim was online while he was serving in Iraq. Even in times of stress he was always upbeat. We shared stories about our daughters and what they were busy learning to do. He talked about how much he missed and loved Katie and Nat. I told him to be careful, never thinking that would be the last time I would talk to him. His loss is HUGE, but I feel honored to have known him and been a part of his life. My prayers are with his family especially Katie and Natalie.

Tim- I will always be grateful to you for introducing me to Reeves. You will always be in our hearts. I just know you and Todd are up there playing pranks; keep an eye on him. We'll be telling Julia stories about "Uncle Tim." I'll see you again someday and I expect a BIG hug. You always gave the best hugs. You know I love you.
