| My deepest sympathy to the Shimp family during this tragic time. I was lucky enough to serve under Scott in Iraq when he was a given his first leadership role as platoon leader, right out of flight school. Coming in midway through a deployment, he was green to the game but was always willing to listen and learn, the sign of a good natural leader. He will be missed and always remembered. |
