Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Rob Beale on September 25, 2007:

I am still in shock that Scott is no longer with us. It seems like just yesterday, Scott was hamming it up at Fort Rucker with his blonde mullet wig.

I was fortunate enough to have been Scott's "stick buddy" during the Basic Combat Skills (BCS) portion of flight school, as well as in his OBC and AVCCC. During BCS, we got to go out on "solo" flights and I could see that Scott was in his element as we cruised the skies of lower Alabama. He was always laid back and didn't sweat the small stuff. It was always evident that his passions were leading Soldiers and flying.

Scott knew how to have a good time and didn't take life too seriously.

Scott is in a better place now and although he is not with us, his memory will live on forever.

To Scott's family: may you find the Eternal Peace in Him that while Scott's time on earth was brief, he will live on for eternity with our Heavenly Father. And you will be reunited once again.

Well Done Scott, Be Thou at Peace.

Sincerely,
Rob Beale
