Like Mike, I never knew Lenny all that well, yet I was in "Old Ironsides" with him in Iraq. The last time I saw Lenny we were in the middle of Baghdad celebrating Founder's Day together at what we thought was the end of our brief delpoyment. He was happy and alive and eager. Now this. To his wife and his family, all I can say is that Lenny was proud of his unit and his men. He was one of the best of us and we will all miss him. I have a group picture of a few of us at that event that I think he sent home. If anyone from the family wants it, please feel free to contact me at the given address.
