"MAX" AS HE WAS CALLED IS DESCRIBED BY HIS ROOMMATE
DON ANDREWS AS "VERY MATURE, VERY SMART, LAID BACK
AND UNFLAPPABLE" HE EARNED HIS STARS YEARLING YEAR.
HIS BEST FRIENDS WERE DALE PATTERSON AND ROY WEEDEN.
HE WAS ALSO A LONG TIME FRIEND OF BOB DEARDORFF WHO
DESCRIBED HIM AS A SUCCESSFUL STOCK BROKER. HIS
FAVORITE EXPRESSIONS WERE "IS THAT RIGHT" AND
"YOU WOULDN'T KID ME WOULD YOU?" GEORGE WAS IN
B-1 AND RESIGNED 4 JUNE 53. GEORGE WAS A SGT. IN
THE REGULAR ARMY AND RECIEVED A REG. ARMY APPT.
