Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Kathryn and Kevin Lee on August 25, 2005:

My husband and I both met Laura for the first time in Germany, where we all attended High School together. From that first moment on, Laura made an impression on our lives. She always had a smile on her face, was always willing to give her all to any cause and to lend a helping hand where it was needed. Laura had this great personality about her, being fun and quirky, but also serious and calm at a moments notice. Our circle of friends in High School was extremely close, but as with all friendships, they seem to falter once graduation has commenced. Through friends, both Kevin and I were able to keep abreast of how Laura was doing, and where she was currently stationed. When we were notified of her death only a few days ago, it didn't seem very real at first. Seeing Laura's picture on the website today, knowing that her funeral is today, and reading all those beautiful words from so many caring friends and family, we are both reminded of what a beautiful person Laura was and still is today. She will be missed by many of her "Wuerzburg Wolves", and we all hope and pray that her family will be comforted knowing that Laura made such a wonderful impression on so many lives.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication Laura - you will be missed each day for the rest of our lives.
