Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Didi Bey on September 23, 2005:

How sad I felt when I read of Laura Walker's death in my local paper. I would like to express my deepest sympathies for such a loss. Recently I lost my father in death and while that was difficult I lost my brother some years ago at the age of 27. When a young person dies we feel the impact more profoundly. I have personally found comfort in knowing that we have the opportunity to see our loved ones again right here on the earth. The ressurection hope has sustained people for years. The Bible book of John 5:28,29 says that "all" in their memorial tombs or graves have this hope. Acts 17:31 and 1 Corinthians 15:14 confirm this hope. The joys we will enjoy with all those we have lost will far outweigh the pains we endure now. My sincere hope is that all will be able to at this time recall the great memories with Laura and find comfort in the future.
