Be Thou At Peace

Posted by 1LT Thomas Nelson on November 16, 2006:

For those of you who have never lifted in the cell block at West Point you probably think it was just a small dingy little weight room in the bottom of Grant Barracks. But for those of us who were there 5-6 days a week it was like a second home. You would go there to get stronger, improve physical fitness, train, and sometimes just to blow off steam. And that's where I, and a lot of guys, knew Mike Cerrone. He was always there, dedicated, and that showed not only in the weight room, but in everything he did in life. He was truly one of the best. Everytime I pull out that dusty, old Cell Block Tshirt, I'll think of Mike and he will definitely be missed by all. My heart goes out to your family and your many friends in this tragic time. Your sacrifices and leadership will not be forgotten.
