| My husband and I met Michael at Fort Benning and grew to love him as a part of our new family. He was over every Wednesday night to play poker with the guys. He loved poker night! It was a night for him to sit around smoking cigars with the guys and just have fun. We also knew Michael as a grill master! It seems like not that long ago he was making a huge mess in our kitchen getting burgers, steaks and vegetables ready for the grill. He always found a way to take over, which I always appreciated. Making dinner for six or seven grown men is not for the faint hearted. We actually grilled out every night for a week straight and all I had to do was boil the corn because Mike would take care of the rest. He was wonderful to have around. We were blessed to be able to share a part of our lives with him. |
