It deeply hurts to see the loss of another one of our friends and it is twice as hard for me to lose someone who I was as close to as Mike. I know that I could not be where I am today without Mike as one of my closest friends and essentially my brother. Together we were able to keep the most stressful of times light-hearted and rarely spent time together that wasn't dominated by laughter and making fun of the situations at hand. I am proud to say that I knew Mike and could call him my brother. I am proud that I served with him in this Army of ours. I will never forget him and make an effort to remember him everyday for the rest of my life. My family, friends, and hopefully one day, my children will know who Michael Cerrone and what he sacrificed for all of us. He will live on in my memory and in yours. I love you Mike, rest in peace brother. I'll see you again. Jordan |
