Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Stephen G. Fine, SFC, USAR, RET on August 1, 2010:

CPT Holbrook:
Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice in defending freedom from the oppressors of freedom. You stepped forward to serve our Country in a time of need that has never been greater and you risked everything to do so. Though you are gone, we are safer from this vicious enemy, because of your selfless service; you have kept them at bay and away from our shores.

To the Family of CPT Holbrook:
Time may soften the sorry of his loss, but his service to our Country will stand the test of time as a resolute signal to all others that have designs on ending our beliefs in freedom and the values that have made America a beacon of light for oppressed people everywhere. Thank you for allowing your son / husband to serve in order for us to live in peace, still.

CPT Holbrook,
As you report to your new duty station of resting American heroes, you may hear from those that you served, "There is Another Hero Reporting for Duty".

As your loved ones do, I also grieve for your loss.

Respectfully,

Stephen G. Fine
