Dave, you were a great friend. I promised myself I wouldn't get broken up at your memorial service, but I couldn't help it. You were everything we remember...larger than life in your accomplishments, loyalty, friendship, and humility. Thanks for all the good times...for letting us regular folks into your life. I will never think of the OH-58D course without laughing at all the stunts we pulled and the jokes we shared as we learned to fly together, or eating wings at Fort Drum and wishing we weren't so "geographically disadvantaged." Thanks for helping me get to where I am now. So many of us owe you our endless thanks for your friendship and support. NSDQ |
