| Always with a smile on his face is how I will remember Paul Pena. I heard a lot of great stories about him from my son, a fellow classmate at West Point, but I did not have the pleasure of meeting Paul until graduation week. He was a wonderful fellow, a soldier, officer and gentleman, and above all, an honorable and true friend to his classmates and comrades in arms. No mere words can ease this pain, but we do have fond and funny memories to sustain us. I consider it high privilege to have known as fine a young man, officer and soldier as Paul Wenceslaus Pena. He will be missed greatly. |
